Building off the success of Team 1EV's gear tunnel storage system, our engineers set out to design the ultimate lower rear cargo vault for the Rivian R1S. A common ask from our Patrol EV upfitting division has been to create a secure vault in the Rivian R1S, in a vehicle-specific manner, with a vault that fits perfect and feels like an OEM option. The RMaxx Rear Lower Cargo Storage Vault for Rivian R1S fitment is truly designed and perfected as a bolt-in solution, engineered exclusively from scratch to fit the Rivian R1S rear lower cargo area. Once installed, the RMaxx Vault fits in the existing R1S low cargo space without any modification. The Vault is offered with an optional robust Simplex combination deadbolt push button lock for securing the contents in a sure safe manner.
The thoughtful design continues on the inside. The lower surface on the lid features MOLLE / PALS panel slots, for equipping as desired. The lid opens using one of two integrated flush grab handles and holds open automatically with the integrated side hydraulic strut.
